- I came to Southwest Alabama many years ago, never mind precisely how many, with very few coins in my pocket, hoping to experience the warm part of the country. I didn’t mean to stay, but I met a Mobile girl and wound up getting married. Four kids later, here I am. It’s been a pretty good run.
